So with our North Carolina trip less than a week away and Knit City less than two, between packing three people for a trip to the other side of the continent and trying to finish up some sewing and making all the tags for our scarves, making pattern books and trying to clean my entire house, I decided it would be a good idea to take on a test knit as well.
I've never actually done one before and I thought it would a be a neat idea to see what it's like on the other side. So far, gotta say, pretty good. I'm testing a pair of a socks and the pattern is turning out great, the designer is awesome and friendly annnnd I get a free pattern while helping out a fellow designer. Win-win for everyone!
Let's just hope I can get them done by the deadline!
I'm sure I'll get lots of knitting done at the airport, right? It's not like I'm travelling with a toddler or anything.
