What is an affiliate program? How does it work?
An affiliate program is when a company (me) pays an affiliate (you) to promote its products. When you sign up to be a Pip & Pin Affiliate, you’ll get a set of personalized Share Links that you can share with your followers in whatever way you’d like, whether that’s through social media, email newsletters, on a blog or vlog, or in person. Whenever someone signs up for a workshop using your link, you receive a percentage of that sale.
Who can participate?
Anyone is welcome to join! Whether you have a big following, a small following, or no social media at all, everyone is welcome to participate in this program.
Does it cost anything?
No! It costs absolutely nothing to participate or to receive your affiliate link. It is 100% free to you.
Do I have to post about the course a specific number of times?
Nope! You can post and share as much or as little as you feel comfortable! Your commission is directly tied to the number of sales generated by your link. There is no minimum number of times you need to post or share at all.
How are sales tracked from my link?
Our website can track where each person visiting has come from - whether they did a google search, clicked a link from our Instagram profile, or used your affiliate share link. This information is stored for 30 days, so even if someone clicked your link first and didn't make a purchase, but then came back later through a different channel, you’ll still get credited for the sale.
How much will I earn? How and when do I get paid?
Pip & Pin affiliates earn 30% of the total cost of each sale made, at the time of purchase.
If someone purchases Altering Sweater Patterns through your link at the full price of $148 USD, you'll get $44.40 USD. If they used a coupon and paid $108 USD, you'll get $32.40 USD.
If someone purchases the Altering Sweater Patterns through our payment plan and pays $56 USD/month for three months, you'll receive $16.80 USD each time they make a payment.
You will get paid on the 10th of each month (or the following Monday if it falls on a weekend) for the previous month’s sales through the Paypal account you provided when signing up.
