We are Pip & Pin - an international knitwear design company founded by Megan Nodecker and Katie-Anne. Our shared love for knitting, creativity, and entrepreneurship led us to establish our company in 2010.
The Pattern Designer
Megan is the creative force behind Pip & Pin's unique and contemporary knitwear patterns. With a natural flair for design and an unwavering attention to detail, Megan has always had a knack for transforming skeins of yarn into beautiful, wearable garments. Her designs reflect the perfect blend of simplicity and style, making them accessible and appealing to knitters of all skill levels.
In the early days of Pip & Pin, Megan's hands were constantly busy, knitting bulky, warm, and stylish pieces that were sold successfully at craft markets. However, after becoming a mother, she found a new way to channel her creativity and passion for knitting - designing knitwear patterns.
Today, Megan not only designs every pattern we offer but also pours her decade of experience into creating resources that empower other knitters to create their own beautiful pieces.
The Marketing Strategist
Katie-Anne is the backbone of Pip & Pin's business operations. With a robust background in digital marketing and a sharp business insight, Katie-Anne ensures that our designs reach knitters all around the globe.
When motherhood came calling for Katie-Anne and Megan just ten months apart, they knew they had to adapt their business model. Drawing upon her extensive experience in marketing and web development, Katie-Anne helped pivot Pip & Pin from primarily selling physical products to offering knitwear patterns online.
Her expertise has been instrumental in growing Pip & Pin online, turning it into a thriving platform where knitters can find inspiration, resources, and a community that shares their passion for knitting.
