The Parlour Trick Pouch is a small, flat-bottomed, drawstring pouch. Worked seamlessly from the bottom up using Judy’s Magic Cast On, this pouch is worked both flat and in the round. Because of the small amount of fingering weight yarn used, this is the perfect project for leftover yarns, and customizing your Parlour Trick pouch couldn’t be easier. Work the body in stranded colourwork or stripes, or embellish with embroidery or duplicate stitch. Substitute the cotton ties with hemp, ribbon, knitted icord, or leather, or adorn with beads or charms.

Gauge 

34 sts x 52 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch in the round.

Needles & Notions 

US 1 / 2.25 mm circular and/or double pointed needles (or size to obtain gauge), tapestry needle, stitch marker, scrap yarn or stitch holders, two 18” / 46 cm lengths of cord or ribbon.
