Two Birds Socks

CA$8.00

Digital knitting pattern pdf download

The Two Birds Sock pattern includes two ways to knit them - in a single colour with just a little detail or in lots of colours with all-over texture. They’re knit from the top down and in the round with a heel flap and gusset for a perfect fit. Want to knit with that special skein of yarn? Want to use a skein of self-striping yarn in a new way? Or do you want to go wild with colour and use all your scraps and minis?

Whichever way you choose to knit, I bet you can’t stop at just one pair.

Gauge

36 sts x 56 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch in the round, blocked.
36 sts x 48 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in Eyelet Stripe Pattern in the round, blocked.

Needles & Notions

US1 / 2.25 mm 32” / 80 cm circular needles; or 9” circular needles; or double-pointed needles, for working small sock circumference in the round in your preferred method, or size to obtain gauge, tapestry needle, stitch markers.

Finished Measurements

Finished sock circumference is 6.25 (7, 8)” / 16 (18, 20) cm, to be worn with approximately 1” / 2.5 cm negative ease.

Model is wearing size Medium with 1” / 2.5 cm of negative ease.

Yarn & Yardage

For these socks, you can do anything with your yarn choices! I made a single colour version with just the detail on the top, and a multicolour version with the details all throughout the sock. For the multicolour version I used a self striping yarn for my CC, but if you’re feeling scrappy you can change your CC on every eyelet repeat! Each eyelet stripe uses less than 1g of yarn.
